This article examines the problem of motivation and the development of interest among junior school learners. It highlights the importance of creating engaging and student-centered learning environments to enhance learners’ intrinsic motivation. The study discusses various pedagogical strategies such as interactive methods, game-based learning, and the use of visual aids to foster curiosity and active participation. Special attention is given to the role of the teacher in supporting emotional engagement and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. The findings suggest that properly designed motivational techniques significantly improve academic performance and learner involvement
