THE PROBLEM OF MOTIVATION AND BUILDING INTEREST AMONG JUNIOR SCHOOL LEARNERS

Abstract

This article examines the problem of motivation and the development of interest among junior school learners. It highlights the importance of creating engaging and student-centered learning environments to enhance learners’ intrinsic motivation. The study discusses various pedagogical strategies such as interactive methods, game-based learning, and the use of visual aids to foster curiosity and active participation. Special attention is given to the role of the teacher in supporting emotional engagement and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
