THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BLENDED LEARNING IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

Blended learning, a pedagogical approach combining traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning, has emerged as one of the most effective methodologies in English Language Teaching (ELT). This article explores the theoretical foundation, practical applications, and measurable outcomes of blended learning in various educational contexts. It analyzes the benefits, challenges, and future prospects of this approach, drawing on recent studies and examples from both higher education and secondary school settings. The findings indicate that blended learning significantly improves learner autonomy, motivation, and language proficiency when applied with proper instructional design and technological support
