Culture shock typically unfolds in several stages: the honeymoon phase, where initial excitement and fascination dominate; the negotiation phase, characterized by frustration and anxiety; the adjustment phase, where individuals begin to adapt and understand the new culture; and finally, the adaptation phase, where they feel comfortable and integrated into the new environment
