GIRLS’ RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY: EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY, AND DIGITAL SAFETY

Abstrak

This article examines the rights and opportunities of girls in the digital society, with particular attention to digital education, participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), digital employment, and online safety. The study also considers the current situation in Uzbekistan and highlights the importance of creating an inclusive and secure digital environment in which girls are not merely consumers of technology but also active participants in its development. The article argues that ensuring girls’ rights in the digital era requires coordinated efforts by educational institutions, families, government bodies, technology companies, and civil society organizations
