Annotatsiya

This research paper provides a comprehensive sociolinguistic and technical analysis of internet terminology, tracing its evolution from specialized computer engineering jargon to a ubiquitous global lexicon. As global hyper-connectivity redefines human interaction, the vocabulary governing the digital sphere undergoes rapid transformation. This study evaluates a structural corpus of 250 core internet terms, categorizing them based on etymological origin, semantic shifts, and functional application. The empirical results indicate that 65% of contemporary internet nomenclature relies on metaphorical extension (e.g., Cloud computing, Phishing, Sandboxing), while the remaining 35% is dominated by morphosemantic blends, acronyms, and technical neologisms (IoT, Web3, Blockchain). The architectural analysis demonstrates how these terms stabilize across digital media, highlighting their critical role in cognitive linguistics, global technology education, and cross-border digital literacy
