In my opinion, pragmatic competence is the key factor for success in international negotiations. Direct speech often leads to misunderstandings and conflicts, whereas indirect expression, politeness strategies, and practical experience contribute to effective and mutually beneficial agreements. I strongly advocate for involving students in conferences and practical exercises at higher education institutions, as well as for in-depth teaching of English for pragmatic communication
