The increasing generation of agro-industrial waste poses both environmental challenges and economic losses, while simultaneously representing a valuable source of bioactive compounds. This study aims to develop functional food and cosmetic products based on biologically active components extracted from agro-industrial by-products, with a particular focus on plant residues and winery waste. Bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, antioxidants, dietary fibers, and essential micronutrients were recovered using environmentally friendly extraction methods. The obtained extracts were evaluated for their physicochemical properties, antioxidant activity, and functional potential. The extracted bioactive components were subsequently incorporated into functional food additives and cosmetic formulations, and their technological feasibility, stability, and safety were assessed. The results demonstrate that agro-industrial waste can be effectively valorized into high-value functional ingredients with significant health-promoting and cosmetic benefits. The proposed approach contributes to sustainable production, waste minimization, and the development of innovative products aligned with circular economy principles. This research provides a scientific basis for the integrated utilization of agro-industrial by-products and highlights their potential application in functional food and cosmetic industries
