This article analyzes the phenomena of polysemy, homonymy and synonymy of morphemes in the Uzbek language using the example of noun-forming suffixes from a linguistic point of view. The multiplicity of meanings, morphological similarity and semantic similarity of derivational affixes are shown on the basis of specific examples, and their role and significance in the word formation system are studied. According to the results of the study, noun-forming suffixes enter into polysemantic, homonymous and synonymous relationships and play an important role in ensuring the lexical and grammatical richness of the language
