Abstrak

This article explores the development of intercultural communicative competence through English language learning in high schools. It examines how language instruction can enhance students’ cultural awareness, communication skills, and ability to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds. Particular attention is given to authentic materials, classroom discussions, role-playing activities, and intercultural projects. Drawing on established research in intercultural education, the article highlights the importance of integrating cultural knowledge with linguistic proficiency.
