Zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis remains a pressing public health concern across endemic regions. While predominantly recognized by localized ulcerative skin lesions, the disease triggers systemic hematological and biochemical alterations, including leukocytosis, accelerated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, dysproteinemia, and elevated cytolysis enzymes.
