The article explores the effectiveness of storytelling as an innovative pedagogical tool for developing learners’ communicative competence and language skills. The author emphasizes that storytelling creates a natural language environment where students actively engage in listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. Through structured narratives, learners acquire vocabulary, grammatical patterns, pronunciation, and discourse skills in a meaningful context rather than through mechanical drills. The article discusses various classroom strategies such as role-play, picture-based stories, digital storytelling, and collaborative story creation, which promote creativity, critical thinking, and learner autonomy. Special attention is given to age-appropriate story selection and cultural relevance to enhance motivation and emotional involvement
