This article examines the main methods of phonological analysis used in linguistic research to study sound systems and patterns within languages. Phonological analysis plays a crucial role in identifying how speech sounds function, interact, and contribute to meaning differentiation. The study focuses on structural, functional, and distributional approaches that linguists apply to classify phonemes, analyze allophonic variation, and describe phonological rules.
