Pedagogical approaches are central to the theory and practice of education because they shape how teaching and learning are understood, organized, and evaluated. In contemporary educational discourse, it is not sufficient to describe teaching methods only in practical terms; it is also necessary to examine the conceptual parameters that define and distinguish pedagogical approaches. This article explores the major conceptual parameters required for discussing pedagogical approaches in a systematic and academically grounded manner. These parameters include aims and objectives, teacher and learner roles, content organization, methods and techniques, interaction patterns, assessment principles, learning theories, and socio-cultural context. The study is based on a qualitative theoretical analysis of educational and methodological literature related to pedagogy, teaching methods, and instructional design. The findings show that pedagogical approaches can be effectively analyzed only when these conceptual dimensions are considered together rather than separately. The article concludes that a clear understanding of conceptual parameters allows educators and researchers to compare teaching approaches more accurately, evaluate their strengths and limitations, and apply them more effectively in different educational contexts
