This article examines the similarities and differences between English and Uzbek phraseological units related to intellect from a linguocognitive and linguocultural perspective. Phraseological units, as stable and figurative expressions, play a crucial role in representing abstract concepts such as intelligence, wisdom, and reasoning. Since these expressions are deeply rooted in cultural and cognitive systems, their comparative analysis provides valuable insights into how different linguistic communities conceptualize intellectual abilities
