The integration of digital media into English Language Teaching (ELT) has opened new opportunities for enhancing learners’ listening and speaking skills. Among various digital tools, podcasts have emerged as a flexible and effective resource, providing authentic audio input that reflects real-life language use, diverse accents, and culturally rich content. This article examines the methodological role of podcasts in developing listening comprehension and oral fluency in English learners. It discusses the pedagogical benefits of podcast-based activities, including pre-listening, while-listening, and post-listening tasks, as well as speaking exercises such as discussions, summaries, and learner-generated podcasts
