SOME CULTURAL ASPECTS OF METAPHOR IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGE

Abstract

This article explores the cultural dimensions of metaphor in English and Uzbek languages from comparative, descriptive methodology and cultural perspective. It shows that how metaphorical expressions reflect the semantic categories, societal-cognitive elucidations, and interlingual accordance.
