A COMPARATIVE LINGUOCULTURAL ANALYSIS OF PATRIOTIC MOTIFS IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH POETRY

This article presents a comparative linguocultural analysis of patriotic motifs in Uzbek and English poetry. The study examines the linguistic and cultural means used to express patriotism, national identity, and devotion to the homeland in the two poetic traditions. Through comparative and linguocultural analysis, the research identifies both universal and culture-specific features of patriotic discourse. The findings reveal that Uzbek poetry primarily emphasizes collective identity, cultural heritage, and emotional attachment to the homeland, while English poetry highlights civic responsibility, national pride, and individual commitment to the nation
