Abstrak

This article examines the impact of video and audio materials on the development of English listening comprehension. Listening is considered one of the most challenging skills for language learners due to pronunciation variation, speed of speech, and lack of contextual understanding. The integration of audio and video materials provides learners with authentic language exposure and contextual cues that support comprehension. The study highlights how modern multimedia resources enhance learners’ motivation, improve listening accuracy, and promote real-life communication skills. The article emphasizes the pedagogical value of multimedia-based instruction in contemporary English language teaching
