This thesis explores the transformative role of information technologies (IT) in linguistics, highlighting their impact on research, language teaching, and applied practices. It examines how computational tools, digital corpora, statistical analysis, and natural language processing enable large-scale data collection and systematic analysis of phonetics, syntax, morphology, and semantics. The thesis also discusses technology-enhanced pedagogy, including corpus-based teaching, machine translation, speech recognition, and interactive learning platforms. Challenges such as data reliability, ethical considerations, and the need for computational proficiency are considered. Finally, it emphasizes the synergy between traditional linguistic expertise and modern IT tools in advancing both research and practical language education
