This article examines the role of innovative technologies in developing the lexical competence of future English language teachers. In the modern educational environment, digital tools, interactive platforms, multimedia resources, and artificial intelligence technologies have become important instruments for improving foreign language learning. Lexical competence is one of the main components of communicative competence because vocabulary knowledge allows learners to express ideas accurately and effectively. The article analyzes effective methods of using innovative technologies for vocabulary acquisition, increasing students’ motivation, and improving the professional preparation of future English language teachers. The importance of digital learning environments in creating independent, creative, and competent language users is also discussed
