Research skills and digital learning readiness are becoming essential components of teacher education programs. This conceptual paper employs constructivist learning theory, social cognitive theory, and digital pedagogy frameworks to analyze the impact of digital assessment tools on the research capacity of pre-service teachers. These technologies enhance skill development by supporting complex thinking, offering realistic experiences, enabling collaboration, promoting reflection, and encouraging personalization.
